Merry Chickens

Hello Chicken Fans.

This time we made our chickens a Christmas treat, chicken cake!

Here's how we made it......

 

 
 
 
 
We had lots of different vegetables which we peeled and chopped, this was all put into a large pot (peelings included!).
 
 

 
 
 
We then added some chicken pellets and a handful of corn which had been soaked in water to make it mushy.
 
 


 
 
 
After a good stir we cooked it all for about 20minutes (Mrs Davies stirred it whilst we cleaned the chicken house!).
 
 


 
 
 
Once cooked the mushy mixture goes into a dish and is sprinkled with corn, a wonderfully tasty treat for our chickens and they ate the lot!

    sounds fun hope they liked it. you could say it was their Christmas present! They would probably
    like another one soon so I hope you could make another for them very soon.
